Back to school project

Now that it is back to school season, I decided to pick up some of these old fashioned composition notebooks at .25 each.  These black and white books have been around forever, so I decided that I would not only pick them up for the kids, but I would decorate them first.

Supply List: Most of this is in my stash, the Duck tape is new.
Composition notebook
black card stock
Tim Holtz Ornamental Die
Avengers Duck Tape
Recollections photo frames
Recollections storm stickers
MLS alpha stickers
DCWV alpha stickers (christmas)
3M sanding block
ATG adhesive

For this project I covered the notebooks with strips of the Duck tape, used a piece of die cut black card stock, wrote the kids' name of the cover along with the storm stickers and used the photo frames to frame the kids' pictures.  After everything was adhered to the front, I used the sanding block to smooth out the edges and get rid of any excess sticky stuff.

So that is all.  Now the kids have these personalized notebooks to use to journal, draw, do homework, or just to have so they always remember that they are loved by their aunt shell.  Until next time my friends, have a great day.
