Hello my friends! I am going to start off this blog post by complaining! If you are in California, then you already know that we are sizzling out here. Historic drought conditions, scorching temps- we need relief! I'm this close to preforming an Indian rain dance, except that I know it would only bring on humidity. Since I can't play Mother Nature, instead I'll just pretend it's fall. I will imagine brisk winds, crunchy leaves, and cute scarfs.
Today I took some much needed time out of my busy day I lit a pumpkin candle and created an autumn banner to help me welcome in the new season. So what do you think?

Autumn banner hanging on my cubicle wall. Just ignore the staff reports behind the wall. |

A close up of one of the banner pieces. I love the little owls and the burlap. |

Clearance score at Joann's- Only $2.98! |

Another Close up. Originally I punched the holes in the pattern paper, but then decided I needed to make the banner bigger. Remember there are no flaws in art (but I should cover them with some enamel dots or something). |
So that is by post for today. I have a pretty full schedule, so I have little time for crafting, but I am excited to embark on my Halloween projects soon. Until next time, have a great day.
